THE FAT: I was raised in a creative household in the Deep South, where my artistic talent was nurtured from an early age with art classes, apprenticeships and eventually both a bachelors and masters degree in painting. This passion for art is my life.

THE SKINNY: With features in House Beautiful, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, and the Scout Guide, and partnerships with Serena & Lily and West Elm, I'm known by designers, clients and industry peers for creating inventive yet approachable abstract paintings that embrace color and intuitive mark-making. I've made a name for myself doing what I love.

I’ve commissioned Augusta to do several pieces of work both
professionally to coincide with writing projects and personally for my home. Aesthetically she captures something like no one else in her field, making such special pieces. On the business side of being an artist, she is responsible, prompt and is lovely to work with. I cannot recommend her work enough.

Oh my goodness I love love love
this piece so much! It’s perfect in our space!

I’ve bought a few of your
minis over the years but I’m thrilled about this BIG one. It will be the first thing you see when you walk in my house!

I am in love with all of your paintings.
They are so calming and beautiful and dreamy, and they all pertain to topics near to my heart---the beach, sunsets, marshes, etc.

I’m so excited to have one of your paintings in our newly renovated condo in Naples, FL! I have been following you on Instagram since August and love your work!

The painting arrived and is
spectacular! So excited to hang it up!

Let me tell you, I realize I make painting look easy. And that’s part of the job— to make it look effortless. But real creating take a lot of time— mentally mostly. Paintings live in my head for weeks, months. I try to work them out there.
