Materials

As a formally trained artist (I have a BFA in painting from The University of Georgia and a MFA in painting from Savannah College of Art & Design) I have a vast knowledge of art materials, and strive to use the very best when it comes to pigment quality and company standards.

  • Painted with the highest quality American oil paint and medium from Gamblin

  • French Sennelier oil pastel (originally created for Pablo Picasso)

  • American charcoal from General’s Pencil Company

    Paintings on Canvas:

  • Painted on a primed natural duck cotton canvas that has been hand stretched to the professional standard over 1 1/2” wood stretcher bars

  • Each painting is signed on the front, and signed, dated and titled on the back for authentication

  • Each painting is painted on the sides (i.e., gallery wrapped) for a finished look without the frame

    Paintings on Paper:

  • Painted on 100% cotton heavyweight 140 lb., cold pressed archival paper, made in France by Arches and treated to handle oil paint, to preserve the luminosity and quality of the painting for decades to come

  • Each painting is signed, dated and titled on the back for authentication
