This piece. When completed, Augusta just stopped and stared. It felt like a breakthrough—those greens, the marks, the playfulness. It was inspired by Augusta’s son’s football tryout (he’s 9 and never played): all the nerves, excitement, and the beauty of watching your people grow and do their thing. The feeling of letting go. It’s one of those paintings you’ll love forever, so put it in a spot you’ll see it everyday (we love the idea of an entry way or office for this size).

This original painting is a 48” height x 36” width x 1.5” depth mixed oil media (oil paint and pastel) on stretched canvas. It is framed in a white oak floater frame which adds an extra inch all around.

• It is painted on the sides (i.e., gallery wrapped) for a finished look without the frame.
• For authentication, it is signed and dated on the back.
