Hi I'm Augusta

Hi I'm Augusta

I made each painting with the idea that it would provide you with an escape. An escape into a beautiful memory, place, or time.

Maybe it reminds you of something you just can’t put your finger on, but the feeling you get from seeing it is one you want to carry with you.

Either way, the paintings are an experience; an investment in the beauty of your everyday. I hope you find one you love.

MORE ABOUT ME
Matthew Monroe Bees

Matthew Monroe Bees

I LOVED catching up with designer Matthew Monroe Bees and hearing his take on the new collection! Matthew, a southerner through in through, has a fabulous eye for grand interiors that are over the top yet livable. His instagram is the most inspiring to follow, showing his collected, euro-continental, southern design while also letting you into his world in Alabama (he lives in my hometown, Mobile!). Scroll to see which paintings from my latest collection he loves and why. Thank you, Matthew!

Gordon Dunning picks November

Gordon Dunning picks November

I've had the pleasure of working with Lathem Gordon and Cate Dunning of Gordon Dunning on many of their projects, and let me just tell you, it is always the BEST time when they call. These women are talented, down to earth, creative and smart. They create beautiful, unique and most importantly, LIVABLE spaces. They're fun to hang out with but serious about a deadline. My kind of girls.

Fall Paper Collection: Bailey Ward

Why Landscapes

Why Landscapes

In the spirit of Miranda Priestley from The Devil Wears Prada, “Landscapes for Fall… groundbreaking.” So, no. Landscapes are nothing new. Neither are abstract landscapes if we’re being honest. But there’s a reason why cliches bring us joy, and traditions are what they are: they feel good. They make sense. We look forward to them.

All About Paper

All About Paper

Every October I launch a paper collection: these pieces great to give (or get) as a holiday gift (the size or price are on the smaller side of my usual work) though the real reason for the timing is the sprucing factor.

Refresh Time

Refresh Time

It never fails that once Summer is over I see my house with new eyes.. and it the eyes of a woman who's starting to think about entertaining/holidays and how that one room just isn't cutting it.

So what do you do when lighting a match and starting over… I mean renovating… isn't the answer?

Collectors are saying

I am in love with all of your paintings.
They are so calming and beautiful and dreamy, and they all pertain to topics near to my heart---the beach, sunsets, marshes, etc.

Oh my goodness I love love love
this piece so much! It’s perfect in our space!

I’ve bought a few of your
minis over the years but I’m thrilled about this BIG one. It will be the first thing you see when you walk in my house!

I’m so excited to have one of your paintings in our newly renovated condo in Naples, FL! I have been following you on Instagram since August and love your work!

The painting arrived and is
spectacular! So excited to hang it up!
